Course Objective
The hospitality industry is normally considered to be a skilled professional oriented industry. The success of hospitality operation mainly depends on skilled manpower, therefore training is an integral tool which helps in developing knowledge and skills, which further fulfils the frequent demands of industry.
GCC SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAM (GSTP) was launched in 2013 with the aim to provide young aspirants wishing to make a career in hospitality, the opportunity to train under the guidance of professional hoteliers. During the training programme, the trainee is given on-job practical training in the hotel to learn the various aspects of hotel operations and is thus able to gain valuable experience besides honing the attitude, skills and knowledge required by the industry.
Unlike other hospitality education programmes, GSTP focuses on practical training in hotels. No fee is payable by the students selected for the GSTP programme. Instead, the trainee is offered monthly allowance, accommodation, meals on duty, uniform and shoes.
On successful completion of the training, the trainee is also eligible for Training Completion Certificate under the GSTP.
GSTP has trained over 3000 students in the past 5 years in various sections such as:
Restaurant service operations, Housekeeping operations, Front office operations, Food Production, Utilities, Digital Marketing, etc.
Admission Process
- Students are required to fill their correct information in the REGISTRATION / ENROLLMENT FORM.
- Students are required to submit their colour photos along with the Registration / Enrolment form.
- Following documents are required to be submitted by the students:
- Attested copy of Leaving Certificate
- Attested copy of Mark sheets
- Copy of Aadhar card / Residential proof
